Mintons Academy of Music offers private instruction in piano, voice, guitar, strings, woodwinds, drums, ensembles and early childhood music development classes like Music Fun Time all in ONE great location! This saves our students time and money, as one family can take multiple instruments on the same day. Other music schools may offer multiple instruments, but we are one of the only schools that offer Piano, Voice, Strings, Woodwinds, Guitar and Drums in the same location.

Location

Our school is conveniently located in Ashburn on Red Rum Dr., just down the street from Golds Gym and next door to Ashburn Academy of Dance. There is plenty of parking right in front of our school. 

 

Month to Month Lessons

We do not require semester minimums for lessons.  Every student here is on a month-to-month basis and you are not required to commit to a long term contract. You will also be pleased with our make-up policy.

State of the Art Modern Facility

Our clients enjoy a professional waiting room with comfortable chairs,WIFI and the movie of the week on our 60" TV screens. Our school is comprised of 7 sound proof music studios each room with a window view. You can view your child’s lesson through the window while you wait, or if you prefer you can sit in on their lesson anytime you like.  In addition, our school has it own theater, this is where we perform of recitals, concerts and shows.

Multiple Performance Opportunities Throughout the Year

As a music school committed to musical excellence, we place a strong emphasis on providing multiple performance opportunities throughout the year. For these performances, students will be performing or accompanied on a baby grand piano. These performances are low pressure and optional for our students.  In addition, our school hosts monthly jazz jams for all musicians weather you attend our school or not. We also host open mic nights and LCPS shows.

A Wide Range of Music Lesson Times Available

We have great hours and offer multiple class times to work around your busy schedule. Since we are a full service music school, we are able to offer lessons as early as 2:30pm. We will also open in the mornings for our pre-school program Music Fun Time.
